for Using the City of Littleton e-Government Website
This website allows you, the
taxpayers of Littleton, 24-hour access to sales and use tax information.
Your browser must be configured to accept
cookies to conduct business on this site. Most browsers default to accept
cookies. This site uses temporary cookies that will expire after 20 minutes of
browser inactivity. Check your browser's help for information on cookies.

View Personal Account Information
To use the
City of Littleton’s online sales tax filing system, you must first have your ID
Number (Account Number) and Password (PIN).
Once you
have this information, you may log in.

Click on
the Login tab.
·
Enter your
Customer ID (Account Number) and Password (PIN) and select ‘Login’. You will be prompted to enter an e-mail
address and a new password (PIN) will be e-mailed to the address you have
entered. This will be your permanent
password (PIN). Once you receive your
new permanent password (PIN), you will be able to log in.
File and View Returns (Login Required)
To view
and file sales/use tax returns for your account, select File and View All Returns. This will provide a listing of all
returns for your account.
Scroll to
find the return that you would like to file or pay. Returns noted as Entry Reqd have not been
filed, returns noted as Closed have been
filed and there is no amount due on the return, returns noted as Due have been filed and there is an amount due on
the return and you may pay the return at this time.
To file a
return:

Select Details on the return you would like to file.

After
reading the information at the top of the screen, begin entering the
information for your return. NOTE: you must enter a value in each field leaving
no fields blank.

Once you
have entered the sales/use tax information, select Submit.
You will be able to review your return once more before you confirm the return.

After
selecting Submit, you have the opportunity to edit your return. This screen
allows you to make any necessary changes to the return before it is confirmed.

To make
changes to the return, select Edit. When editing a return, all prior information that
has been entered is removed and you will have to re-enter all fields.

If the
return information is accurate, select Confirm.
IMPORTANT – Once you select Confirm, you are no longer able to make changes to
your return. If you find there were errors – you MUST file an amended return
via the mail.

Your
sales/Use tax return has been successfully filed. You will automatically be
returned to the listing of all your returns. The return you just filed will be
noted with the option to Pay the return. If you would
like to pay the return, select Pay and the
return will be marked for payment. You must select Pay
Bills Page at the top of the screen or select Checkout
from the main menu to proceed with payment.
To file a
ZERO return:

Select Details on the return you would like to file.

After
reading the information at the top of the screen, begin entering the
information for your return. NOTE: you must enter a value in each field leaving
no fields blank.

Once you
have entered the sales/use tax information, select Submit
Zero Return. You will be able to review your return once more before you
confirm the return.

After
selecting Submit, you have the opportunity to edit your return. This screen
allows you to make any necessary changes to the return before it is confirmed.

To make
changes to the return, select Edit. When editing
a return, all prior information that has been entered is removed and you will
have to re-enter all fields.

If the
return information is accurate, select Confirm Zero
Return. IMPORTANT – Once you select Confirm, you are no longer able to
make changes to your return. If you find there were errors – you MUST file an
amended return via the mail.

Your
sales/Use tax return has been successfully filed. You will automatically be
returned to the listing of all your returns. The return you just filed will be
noted as Closed with no amount due on the return.
To pay a return, click Select Returns to Pay.
You will see a list of returns and amounts due on returns.
To pay outstanding sales/use tax
returns:

Mark the returns to pay by placing a
check mark in the Pay column and enter the amount you are paying for the
selected return.

Click Checkout
to calculate total payment and proceed to checkout. You will see another screen
confirming the returns and amount you will pay.

Click Abort
Payments to abort transactions and return to the e-Government greeting
page where you can start over or logout.
The City of Littleton utilizes
Colorado.gov to process online payments. You may pay by Credit Card or electronic
check.
Fees:
Credit Card - There is a
non-refundable portal administration fee of $0.75 per transaction plus 2.25% of
the total transaction amount for credit card
payments.
Electronic Check – A $1.00 fee
applies to each Electronic Check transaction.
To pay returns:

Select the Payment Method Colo in the drop-down box.
Once you select Submit, you will be
redirected to the Colorado.gov website for payment processing.
Continue entering the billing
information.
Verify your payment information.

Click Disagree/Exit
to cancel the transaction, or
If desired, print a copy of the
Transaction Complete page for you records. You will receive a confirmation E-mail
for your transaction.
View
Personal Account Information
To make
changes to your personal information, select Change My
Account Information.
You will
be able to make changes to your personal information.
Once
completed, select Submit and your information
will be updated. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail
address on file
You may change your password at any
time from the Change password menu option.
Select Change
My Password and enter your current password and the new password that
you would like to change it to. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address on
file
If you forget your password, go to
the Forgot password link to have it e-mailed to
you.
To log out of the system, select Log Out. You will be given the opportunity to submit
suggestions or comments to the City of Littleton Sales Tax staff.
You MUST select Send Comments & Logout or No
Thanks, I’m Done to be fully logged out of the system.
Please logout after completing your
transaction. After 20 minutes of browser inactivity, you will be automatically
logged out.
